Began 5-1/2 Years Ago and Have Given Away Over 300 Shawls or Lap Robes.

Blessings Everyone.

Our Ministry is still active even if this website isn't often updated. Smile.

We continue to meet every Wednesday morning at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. When a new priest joined our parish, we moved from the Rectory living room and over to the Parish Hall Nursery.

Anyone who wants to do any kind of needlework is welcome to join us from 10 a.m. to noon. You choose whatever you want to do; there is no restriction on what kind of project you pursue.

As noted in the heading, we've given away over 300 shawls in five years and have a chest full of others ready and waiting. All shawls or lap robes are blessed before they go out. They are also prayed over as we knit or crochet. We pray for the person who is ill or grieving who will receive this gift that's intended to bring comfort and encouragement. Those from Holy Redeemer receive a Christian metal sewn onto a corner.

Peace & Blessings.

Father Graham on the other side of the room, blessing even more.

Our knitters and crocheters are prolific, and love what they do.

Marilyn does knit baby caps for hospitals.

Rose with her "stained glass" patterned shawl.

Jan makes beautiful cards to
accompany the shawls.

These are about to be mailed to friends out of town.

May God Always Bless You With
Faith, Hope, Trust and Peace.
